Conditions of Participation

The number of seminar participants is limited. The registrations are made via website, in writing as facsimile, email or conventional mail. They are considered in the chronological order of receipt and confirmed by UMCO Umwelt Consult GmbH (for short: UMCO) via written email. The customer accepts the conditions of participation as well as UMCO’s general terms and conditions by affixing his/her signature either to the registration form or by a different written registration via email or through the registration form on the website. If an event takes place with a cooperation partner for which registration is made via such partner, the latter’s conditions of participation apply.

The participation fees include seminar documents, beverages during the breaks and, where applicable, lunch. Travel expenses and hotel bills are not included.

The contents of the respective seminars are found in the corresponding seminar descriptions.

The seminars are held in the offices of UMCO, Georg-Wilhelm-Strasse 187, 21107 Hamburg. Other event premises are possible and found in the corresponding seminar descriptions.

No cancellation fee is due for a withdrawal latest four weeks before the respective seminar begins. For a cancellation two to four weeks before the respective seminar begins a cancellation fee amounting to 50 % of the contract value is invoiced. For a cancellation as from two weeks before seminar begins the full order value is invoiced. Alternatively, substitute participants may be sent to the event booked.

We reserve the right to avail ourselves of a substitute consultant for organisation reasons or in case of illness, to change the seminar contents as well as date or location, or to cancel the seminar. Should seminar fees already have been settled, they shall be refunded. Further claims are excluded.

The invoice is drawn up and despatched immediately upon registration. Settlement shall be effected excluding any discount whatsoever latest 5 working days prior to the beginning of the seminar. Partial seminar attendance shall not entail a reduction the fee.

UMCO points out that the seminar contents are of the general kind and may only be applied to the specific individual case after consultation with UMCO.

The participant is issued a certificate after having participated on all the seminar days
